The 2014 Rob Broadfield Weekend Raised $350K for Telethon.

The third annual Rob Broadfield Dinner for Telethon at Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa raised a record $350,000 last year.

Guests enjoyed a weekend of culinary indulgence, fine wines and fundraising at the Resort with highlights including a Johanna Johnson fashion parade in the Nolan Suite, a magical dinner created by Neil Perry and some fierce bidding for auction items across the weekend.

Hawaiian CEO Russell Gibbs said the company was proud to host the event. “Telethon is a prominent Western Australian charity that we have been in partnership with now for the past three years,” Mr Gibbs said. “This event isn’t just a great weekend, it’s a great way to raise money for sick kids.”

Telethon General Manager Steve Mummery said the event had surpassed his expectations. “Hawaiian have provided us with an outstanding opportunity to raise an incredible amount of money utilising their Cable Beach Resort Club & Spa asset,” Mr Mummery said.

“The time and resources that they put into getting the right people to Broome and turning on such an eventful weekend means that the children of WA will benefit through Telethon.”

The event is getting bigger and better every year, with 2015 promising to up the ante.
