Generosity proves to be the flavour of the Weekend
While enjoying a weekend of indulgence our guests never forgot the reason behind the fifth Rob Broadfield Weekend for Telethon presented by Hawaiian, raising over $450,000 for the Western Australian charity.
The spectacular weekend began on Friday 27 May as guests stepped on board the VIP charter flight to Broome. During the flight taste buds were treated to fine wines and delicious canapes created by Executive Chef, Peter Manifis. A welcome dinner awaited the party's arrival at the Resort's poolside setting at Rambutan. Relishing in a fusion of Asian cuisine delivered by the Resort's own Executive Chef, Joji Iwama, guests proceeded to dine and dance the night away.
Peter Manifis was in charge of fuelling everyone with a delicious breakfast Saturday morning before guests spent a day at the races. On their return, The Rob Broadfield Dinner for Telethon was set as the Broome sunset began to colour the sky and guests were led onto the white sands of Cable Beach. The unrivalled location and the ultimate dining experience courtesy of guest chef's Guillaume Brahimi and Ross Lusted was paired with a brilliant auction of prizes generously donated by a number of our sponsors.
The next morning, guests were treated with a tour of the Stokes gardens before Executive Chef Chris Taylor awaited for them at the Resort with Sunday lunch by the Ocean Pool. A poolside fashion parade by Claremont Quarter complemented the warm sun and mouth-watering seafood.
The weekend had reached its finale, having showcased the phenomenal Kimberley region, the talent of our acclaimed chefs and most importantly, the immense generosity of our guests.
